| Bio: | Married to The Fuzzy Man, 0 kids, 2 stepdaughters aged 12 and 19, unix sysadmin by trade. I am a Freya's gydhia, active in the Asatru religion and in support of various online and real-life pagan organizations. I brew mead in support of both the Asatru community, the medieval re-creation community and for my own bad self. Recently started getting into beer brewing as well. My brewing entries tend to be both frequent and verbose, so to keep from boring my non-brewing friends (and also to make it easier to look up my notes and stuff) I broke that interest off into a separate journal, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} braufrau.I play both kit and hand drums (although I haven't set up the kit in quite a while), and I am starting to teach myself how to play the hammered dulcimer and the bodhran. I have a cherrywood-and-birch 8/14/13 student linear chromatic model from James Jones. I served in the USAF in Ramstein, Germany from 1986-1991, leaving as a Sergeant. I'm sorry folks, but I am just attracting too much attention from psychotic stalker ex boyfriends and witchwar wannabe gunslingers; who either use fake LJ accounts or ask mutual friends to gather and relay what should be private information. I really do not have time for this crap. Therefore I have started becoming extremely discriminating in whom I friend back, and as far as personal information is concerned, this journal has become friends only. I have to know you for a while, and you have to truly show me that you're interested in me for the right reasons, and that we actually have sufficient common interests and value systems, before I can friend you back. Understand this and hopefully there are no hard feelings. My trust has to be earned.
